MEET OUR FAMILY
Who am I
I am Riette, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother. Most importantly I am a daughter of the only King of kings.
I am married to a wonderful man that God has given me.
I have been in childrens ministry for 9 years. God gave me a heart to teach the little ones who He is.
That hansome man next to me is my fantastic husband. We got married in 2003 and by the grace of God we are still fighting the good fight.
God gave us 3 boys of our own and recently entrusted us with another 3 gorgeous children.
With a full house and a full heart we praise God for all He is doing for us.
We homeschool our children and while on this journey I realised how difficult it is to find good quality bible lesson material in your mother tongue (Afrikaans).
On homeschool groups I soon realised we were not the only ones battling this. I felt in my heart I need to make the lessons I create and use accessible for all to use free of charge.
In Matthew 28:19-20 we read: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
We are called to make disciples of all nations. What an honor to be able to start in your own home with your own kids.
